The Acknowledgement Ceremony[1] is an event that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a traditional rite for the royalty of the Golden Hive Colony.
Description[]
The Acknowledgement Ceremony serves as a rite of passage for a young heir to the throne of the Golden Hive Colony might take his place as king.[1]

Past[]
A tradition in the Golden Hive Colony, an Acknowledgement Ceremony was eventually going to be held for King Bee and Queen Bee's son, Charmy. However, Charmy, feeling pressured and not ready for such a big responsibility, ran away before his Acknowledgement Ceremony could begin.[1]
Return to Golden Hive Colony[]
Following his friend Mello's death, Charmy accepted his heritage and returned to the colony, where his Acknowledgement Ceremony took place.[2]
