Andy Diggle

Andy Diggle

Andy Diggle is a former editor of Sonic the Comic. Replacing Steve MacManus in Sonic the Comic #170, Diggle oversaw the end of the "Time Zone" story arch before bringing more action-packed stories, starting with Lew Stringer's "Game Over" story arc. One of his first key decisions was to re-hire Nigel Kitching and allowed him to create a ten-part Sonic Adventure tie-in which would become the final story arch in the comics.

After fifteen issues, when Sonic the Comic began focusing on reprints, the position of editor was no longer necessary and Diggle was removed.

Trivia

  • Outside of Sonic the Comic, Diggle was also the editor of 2000 AD and has written scripts for the likes of Daredevil, Hawkeye and Green Arrow.
