Sonic the Hedgehog: The Beginning is a trade-paperback collection with reprints of the original hard-to-find mini-series of Sonic the Hedgehog. This is the first time the mini-series was ever compiled together. This book was later re-released as Sonic Archives Volume 0.
Foreword

The Foreword, written by original Sonic writer Michael Gallagher, is a small 2-page documentation about how the comics began. It tells about how Michael got involved with Sonic, what it was like to write the comics, and such.
