[edit] Summary

[edit] Story One

"The Return"

Robotnik Prime is teleported to an alternate future Mobius to an orbiting satellite, where he meets his other self, Robo Robotnik for the second time. Robo Robotnik explains that he is close to his demise in the incomplete satellite which will run out of power soon and that he has given up after his failure to defeat his zone's version of Sonic. Robotnik Prime tells him that he has only lost one battle and that there is always another chance, telling him not to give up. After getting through to Robo Robotnik, Robotnik Prime is sent back to the Prime Zone just in time to witness Snively accidentally activate the Operation Wasteland Protocol backup plan, activated by the words "Sonic has Finally won it all". Robotnik aborts the protocol, actually saving Sonic and the Freedom Fighters from Robotnik's rampaging war machines. Robotnik's rationale is that he controls Sonics fate and that he can destroy him at anytime.

[edit] Story Two

"Tails' Knighttime Story!"

Unable to get Tails to fall asleep, Sally tells him a story about Mor Tail, the page to Sir Runalot, in order to teach him that he didn't have to be like Sonic to be great.

[edit] Trivia

This issue regarded Robo Robotnik as a different version of the original Robo Robotnik from "Night of 1000 Sonics", but this was retconned in issue #75 when Robo Robotnik is revealed to be the one behind the eight satellites in Mobius' orbit. Robo Robotnik revealed that when he sent Robotnik Prime back to his Zone, he tapped into his mind and learned the location of the peices of the Giant Borg Battle suit, in order to reconstruct his body and put his plan of revenge into action.

The idea of the Cyborg Sonic from Robo Robotnik's zone was ignored, so maybe the procedure was reversed after Robo Robotnik was defeated for the first time, or it goes back to the fact that the writers treated this as a different zone from the Original Robo Robotnik's.
