[edit] Pseudo-Sonic!

Robotnik uses gathered Sonic's information to create the ultimate evil robot - the Pseudo-Sonic! Meanwhile, Sonic accidently picks a bunch of Poison Sumac Blossoms - which Sonic is allergic to! Sonic soon swells up to a gigantic size. Pseudo-Sonic finds the entrance to Knothole! Will Sonic be able to stop his robotic doppolganger, or will Robotnik find Knothole once and for all?

Robotnik is in excitement of the development of the new robot. But, it is a disaster, as even he is not cruel enough to manufacture a dentist bot!

Sonic can't think of a present for Princess Sally, but a Mobian Needle Bird - the last one (Robotik captured them all and turned them all into Robots) - lands on his head and bonks an idea into him! But Sally rejects the bird and goes to pick needle berries. But she is caputered by Robotnik! What has the needle bird got to do?

  • This issue is the first appearance of a Sonic robot duplicate; Pseudo Sonic.
  • Pseudo Sonic would not be seen again until Sonic the Hedgehog #170.
  • Rotor is wearing a "Hello, my name is Rotor" name tag, and had renamed "Boomer's Shop" "Rotor's Shop," to stop the confusion over his name.
  • A 1-page story, "Tooth or Consequences!" has Robotnik revealing that he at least fears dentists.
  • Features a two-page pinup of Sonic with humongeous muscles.
