Arctur the Dragonkin is a character that appears in Sonic the Hedgehog in the Fourth Dimension. He is a snake-like being and the leader of the mythos creatures, a group against the Organisers. He captured Sonic and Tails, and then tried to shoot them. He wants to reset all of existence into a chaotic universe powered by the Chaos Emeralds. He is also a member of the Pantheon, and is fighting for his people. In the end, he declares peace between his kind and the Organisers.[2] He is a being made of sorcery and magic, and thus science hates him.
Appearance[]
Arctur has "big claws and golden eyes, lots of teeth, and these odd sort of back-projections that did not seem to really fit into his uniform."[3] He is serpentine in shape,[1] implying he is an Eastern/Chinese dragon. He wears a sleek black suit, but underneath it is elaborate armor, with a massive metal breastplate, "designed and carved into an intricate pattern and enameled in bright colours."[2]

Personality[]
Arctur appears cold, cruel, and mocking. He seems to have a short temper, as shown when he tried to shoot Sonic and Tails right off the bat. He will not surrender to anyone, but his claim of "death before dishonour and all that" continues to imply his smug nature.[2] In the end, he turns out to be fighting for the freedom of his people, who were oppressed by the Organisers.
Powers and abilities[]
The projections on Arctur's back can unfold into wings.[2]
Weapons[]
Arctur has a large gun, as well as a sleek black laser pistol.
