Balloon Park Zone is a two-player level for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 that seems to be in a sort of circus or amusement park area.

DescriptionEdit

The level begins by going right through a loop to two moving elephant trunks. By quickly dropping in the moving gap between them (it's tricky to do this quickly), below are three pop bumpers and a conveyor belt on the floor. By running or spin dashing right to a yellow balloon, the player needs to bounce on this balloon by jumping on top of it. Then, the character must land squarely on top of it to bounce straight up. If it's touched without bouncing on it, it will pop and the player will have to wait a second for another one to materialize (by moving out of the way so the new one isn't popped). Bouncing up to the left, the character must then try to land right on top of another balloon, and bounce up to the start pole again. A Remix of Balloon Park can be heard, during various Missions in Sonic Generations.

CheatEdit

There is a known cheat in this level, making it possible to finish the level in under 10 seconds. Right at the beginning, the player must jump down to the left where the yellow balloon is (if one accidentally touches it, he/she will need to wait until it reappears). Then, the player must jump on the top of the balloon and walk up the wall next to it. After reaching the top of the level (which is a quarter-loop) the player can make a move like he/she is walking around a normal loop and move upwards. The player will get stuck there and there is no way to escape either. However, now he/she can move to the right and do the whole course in a very low time. The character only need to do 1 jump per lap to jump over a small gap.
