Baron X fighting Captain Tornado in Sonic the Comic #84. Art by Richard Elson.

Baron X is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. He is a parody of a typical super-villain from New Tek City in the Special Zone and the leader of the Discriminators. He is the sworn enemy of Captain Tornado and the Justice Brigade, although this is apparently just because heroes and villains are "supposed" to fight each other, rather than because of any actual differences between them.

He is an anthropomorphic frog with an X-shaped scar on his forehead, who wears a white T-shirt, grey lederhosen and braces, with red-and-whited checked socks and black buckled shoes.

During one fight in New Tek City between the two teams, Baron X punched Captain Tornado in the face. Captain Tornado claimed that the Baron was going soft, since "That punch hardly hurt me at all!", and then punched the Baron in return. The fight quickly descended into a massive brawl, when the Chaotix Crew joined the Justice Brigade. The fight was soon broken up by police officers, and both "heroes" and "villains" fled.[1]
