The Bat Brain is a character that appears in the Sonic X comic series published by Archie Comics. It was a digital Badnik model found within a virtual reality world created by Dr. Eggman.
Appearance
Bat Brains are robots based off of bats. Their upper body is blue with their lower body being grey. The posses bat wings as well as a rocket for a tail that allow them to fly.

After Sonic the Hedgehog arrived in the Marble Zone, he decided to take shelter in a nearby ruin. Within this ruin, he encounter several Bat Brains that attempted to attack him, but they were swiftly taken care off and had their Rockies released.[1]
