Battle Lord Kukku XV, Sonic Universe #83

The Battle Bird Armada is a group that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is an army consisting entirely of anthropomorphic birds led by Battle Lord Kukku XV, and an aerial Egg Army division whose primary objective is to conquer the skies of the world for Dr. Eggman.[1]

History

Past

The Armada set up operations on Cocoa Island, but their plans were interrupted by the actions of Miles "Tails" Prower who worked his way across the island, fighting the Armada's forces, and eventually defeated the Armada and its officers.[2]

The Battle Bird Armada assembled, from Sonic Universe #86.

Amidst the Shattered World Crisis, the Battle Bird Armada was contacted by Dr. Eggman who summoned the Battle Lord Kukku XV for a mission.[3] After the mission was completed,[4] they were tasked by Eggman with taking down the Sky Patrol and kidnapping Chip.[5] Two operatives that acted as Speedy's escort were captured and imprisoned in the process.[6]

After Speedy delivered Chip to Dr. Eggman the latter requested the Battle Bird Armada to take down a nearby G.U.N flying carrier that was nearby in Apotos.[6]
