A ceiling-clinging hazard.

— Description, Sonic the Hedgehog Encyclo-speed-ia[1]

The Bell[1] (ベル[2] Beru?) is an enemy that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a mass-produced, bell-based Badnik created by Dr. Eggman.

Bell-spr

Based off of the instrument with the same name, the Bell is a yellow bell-shaped Badnik with a gray clapper. It also has a red line on the bead line and its eyelids are purple.

Overview[]

The Bells make their only appearance in Sonic Advance 2, where they appear exclusively in Music Plant. The Bells are immobile, bell-shaped Badniks that cling onto ceilings and lack the usage of any conventional weapons to attack the player with. They usually tend to be placed at very inconvenient locations that can make their playable character run into them very easily if they are not careful. Like many Badniks, the Bells can be easily defeated with any attack, causing them to release their Animal once destroyed.
