The Bio-scanning Who-za-ma-whats-it is an object that appears in the Sonic Boom comic series. It is a device invented by Dr. Eggman which can copy the data of living beings.

Description

The Bio-scanning Who-za-ma-whats-its are comically designed forms of technology. They consist of a mechanical arm with a white glove that holds a device resembling a barcode reader. When activated, the device emits a yellow light that scans and copies the bio-data of living beings as computer data.[1]

History

Archie Comics

In need of the bio-data of Team Sonic for Project Hodge Podge, Dr. Eggman created the Bio-scanning Who-za-ma-whats-its and hid them in the trunks on go-karts which Eggman got Team Sonic to use for the Go-kart Pan-island Grand Prix. During the race, the devices secretly copied all the bio-data Eggman needed from Team Sonic.[1]

Trivia

  • The Bio-scanning Who-za-ma-whats-it is an unregistered trademark, presumably of Eggman Industries.[1]
