Black Wave is a Special Weapon that is exclusively used by Rouge Woman in the Sonic the Hedgehog and Mega Man crossover comic event, Sonic & Mega Man: Worlds Collide. It is used by Rouge Woman and then later copied by Mega Man. The Special Weapon grants the ability of stunning enemies for a short period of time. When using this move Mega Man gains a white and light purple attire, which matches Rouge's color scheme.
History
Once Rouge the Bat was roboticized into Rouge Woman, she and all of the Robot Masters battled against Mega Man, Sonic, Proto Man, and Tails along with most of Sonic's friends. Rouge Woman used the Special Weapon on Knuckles during the battle, but the Roboticized Master was quickly de-roboticized via Mega Man's Sonic Shot. Mega Man would then use the Special Weapon to face the other Robot Masters. (WC #9)
Trivia
- This Special Weapon is based off of the Black Wave move used by Rouge the Bat in Sonic Adventure 2 and its remake, Sonic Adventure 2: Battle.
- There's actually not a given panel that describes what the Black Wave can do, but it's assumed that it does the exact same effects as its Sonic Adventure 2-counterpart.
