The Blue Eagle is a vehicle that appears in the Sonic X anime series. It is a mass-produced combat plane created and deployed by the military organization Guardian Units of the Nations following the Perfect Chaos incident.

Description[]

Appearance[]

The Blue Eagle is a silver twin-engine aircraft. It possesses an aerodynamic body with a blue nose and a one-seated cockpit on the front with a glass cover over it. It also two sets of wings. The first is a smaller pair of wings on each side which are situated right behind the cockpit, and behind them are the much larger main wings, which have blue edges on the front and the GUN symbol on top of them. Connecting the main wings to the body of the Blue Eagle are an jet engine on each side of the Blue Eagle. Right behind the main wings are also has twin vertical tailfins.

Following Perfect Chaos' attack on Station Square, the Blue Eagles were constructed by GUN upon clearance from the President to combat the threat of Dr. Eggman.[1] Supposedly, the Blue Eagles' design was derived from the studies of the E-Series robots that the government had gotten a hold of.[2] Unbeknownst to GUN however, data on the Blue Eagles was hacked by Eggman.[1]
