Sticks is really funny and cute but what i don't like about her is her paranoia because it scares me alot during normal times like before Eggman wrecks havoc.
Plus: her voice when stressed out was very funny and cute.

Sonic means a lot to me and though I may not agree with everything Sega does, I ultimately let bygones be bygones and find some positivity in what is given. Why can nobody else just accept that stuff happens that you cant change and just roll with it, because that is all we can do, instead of fighting and ruining it every step of the way. You might realize that it is not so bad after all. Sonic and all his universes means a lot to me, so if you don't like it, just do us passionate fans a favor and leave, because some of us are enjoying and can spread that enjoyment instead of breaking it down.
I understand what you mean about negative attitudes toward Sonic in general and while I often rip on Sticks for being a Conspiracy nut, I do believe that the reason for Sonic's dip in popularity is because of Nintendo's shenanigans in order to get Sonic fans to like Nintendo more. I don't have any solid evidence to back me up on it though just logical business reasons why they would. It's just a theory of mine. (It's like, whenever theres a new Sonic game thats actually good, critics say "AWESOME! THIS WILL SAVE THE SERIES! NICE!" and then the next Sonic game which is okay, critics are "BAD! THIS KILL THE SERIES!" as if Sonic has 0 rep every new game. Whats with that?)
I like Sonic. THE Sonic. I enjoy his games and when it comes to being a Sonic fan and keep up with the stories and lore in the games even if it is limited compared to cartoons and comics. I have enjoyed pass Sonic cartoons like AoSTH, SatAM and Underground and I was once on subscription to Sonic the Comic until it stopped publishing. at the time I didn't realise about seperate continuity and when I did my attention and interest became fix on Sonic himself.
When it comes to honest oppinion I can't deny a bad cartoon when I see one nor poor story writting for comics. This is why I've been complaining a lot of late over Sonic Boom and Archie Sonic because it's a double heap of WTF? I complain because I expect better because I know Sega can and have acomplished such things for cartoons and comics based on Sonic, such as AoSTH or popular past Archie stories. Why must we suffer a dumbinng down of Sonic entertainment when in the 90s it was better? It also concerns me what impression these cartoons and comics have on our younger Sonic fans as well. Such as Archies excuse to reset Mobius by mashing one timeline onto another as decent storywritting or just some picking out a basic idea and filling it with random pointless gags for an average Sonic Boom episode.
Yes I also complained about Sonic Lost World despite being immensly popular but my reasons is because the gameplay is not to par with what Sega can really do but I am suspicious that theyre not entirely to blame either, as said Nintendo Shenanigans I can't proove.
Now I know to some I am just spouting more hot air. That it is a matter of oppinions and that what is appropriate to what I as an individual like shouldn't be used for everyones expectations, I get it, I have seen such lessons on Ponychan. If people enjoy watching poopy shows then by all means, I won't stop them. The point I am making is that I won't say what is poop without my reasons. Even if it is of Sonic because I love Sonic so much that I should be honest with him just as much as I should be honest with myself.
I will however apologize if my oppinions have been a drag and all, but as long as I am asked for my oppinions then I will be honest about them.
And here I thought that I was the only one who was honestly bothered by Archie's choice on the storytelling department.
Now that would be quite problematic, wouldn't it, good sir?
While not in such a holy sense (I considered using othe rholy books but thought best to soften my analogies unless I go around with a Flame Shield), it's how I see it. An unfinished story in one hand, a brand new story in the other...

That's certainly one way to look at it. Seriously, its as though they think the young kids who are the comic's target audience wouldn't bother trying to keep serious track of all the stuff they're doing with the stories, acting as though they wouldn't be confused why the comics frequently reference the games yet the games don't (or rather, likely won't ever) bother making any references to the comics. Its almost like they're just using the new timeline in the Archie continuity as a sort of non-canon add-on to the games' canon and just expecting everyone to try incorporating the stories/mythos/etc. from the games into the comics and just roll with it, compatibility be damned. Its my honest opinion that the comics should just be allowed to do their own thing and not try to be part of another universe that just doesn't fit with it (granted the Penders lawsuit has apparently made the team behind the Archie comics afraid to use anything not created by SEGA or that the current team themselves have already made and are using these resources in order to try to avoid further legal issues with Penders or other disgruntled former writers of the comics, but even so I don't see why they can't just make their own lore from scratch rather than trying to incorporate too many things from the games' universe.). Even if you don't like the old universe and its stories, you gotta admit that from a writing standpoint the Archie fans are hardly being given a decent alternative -- really, the only things that are still keeping me around at this point are the hope that the general writing of the comics will improve, and that they'll gradually get bolder about going in their own direction again and trying to be unique but engaging, but if this is how things are going to be from now on, no matter what, then I may have to consider retiring from the current comics and just stick with the older issues...
Anyway, I think we should get back on track. The funny thing is, I didn't start watching Sonic Boom until literally last night (I discovered episodes from the show on YouTube, and I'm in the middle of watching everything that's currently available), so I honestly didn't have much to go on regarding Stick's character besides some random facts I've heard and what I've seen of her in the Archie Comics' comic adaption of Sonic Boom (granted I have no idea if those comics are meant to be seen as a separate continuity from the TV Show, so whatever relevance this has on the discussion at large may indeed be moot.). Anyway, I've been watching her in action. So far I can certainly understand why some people may find her annoying/obnoxious, but for me personally I actually find her somewhat endearing, and a little more humorous compared to most of the other cast (Eggman might be the leader in the comedy aspect of the show and is therefore one of these exceptions, for me, but this is currently pending). So I guess I find the character something of the opposite of what you and Yamir24 think of her. But yeah, I guess I can see why some find her annoying.
"Archie, we know you have your comics catered for kids but you really gotta get your $#!7 together. You're either wit hthe games or not."
As for returning to topic, nah sorry I just don't find Sonic Boom as good as past Sonics can be. An average episode of Sonic X can perhaps outclass an episode of Sonic Boom, and that'll be fair cutting out all of Sonic X bad bits down to a ten minutes.
The only reason I am percevering is because I really hope the series will pick up after Season 2, if it will be worthy of one.

That's just the thing -- I haven't seen all of Season 1 yet, but from what I've seen of it so far I'm willing to say that the show overall, to me, is mediocre at best, but even if there is room for improvement will the network allow it to be implemented in a second, or even a third season? I've heard plenty of tale of many a network cancelling many a show with unexplored potential before, even shows that have received critical acclaim in their first seasons, only to be cancelled because of things like not performing to the exact percentage that they want it to, or something else even stupider (granted the execs get some things right from time to time, but just as often they get it pretty friggin' wrong.). Basically the question is, despite what the public at large may think of it, will the network consider Sonic Boom worthy of another season in the end? Only time will tell, but since this is Sonic we're talking about it may get at least one more season. Maybe.
At any rate, I'm sure Sticks will be remembered for many things -- including inspiring fear in the hearts of our younger siblings and children. As for me, so far I will feel inclined to remember her as the Badger who once thought that her breakfast was plotting to kill her.

Sega will perhaps have a hand at saving Sonic Boom if the ratings arn't good enough but it knows not to beat a dead horse with a stick. I tihnk thats why Sonic Underground lasted so long but was unfinished.
As for sticks, I actually liked her in this weeks episode. I guess it's because she didn't have much dialogue. But I'm really glad that I reconsidered to bother with Sonic Boom or else I'd miss such gems.

I agree, Sticks isn't anything like Marine!
See! Looks nothing a like!
