I knew the writing was bad but glorifying suicide? That's far worse than any of Underground's sins.

Its not the first time Sonic's been beaten in a fight, so I don't see what the issue is.
The fact that he can own a huge giant robot earlier in the series but he get's owned by a giant walnut wheras said walnut can get owned by a tree growing on it.

I'll take the same excuse as Destiny and write it off as SPACE MAGIC BECAUSE SPACE MAGIC

Plot conveience is also a big one.
The second arch of Sonic X was weird and didn't follow the games anymore. The dark-oak and meterax stuff just sounds like typical anime villain stuff.
If it kept following the games, however, we would have gotten Sonic X with Sonic '06, in which case the entire sonic universe would be implode because of the shear amount of horrible (though Silver in Sonic X does sound interesting).

The third season was all over the place and made little sense.

Cosmo's heroic sacrifice did have a purpose via weakening Final Mova so the heroes could defeat it, and it was established Final Mova wasn't exactly a push-over in terms of raw power. You act like Sonic need to be unstoppable in order for whatever incarnations of the series he appears in to be good. But then again, I believe the main argument you were originally making in this blog was how this series was "glorifying suicide" made it worse than Sonic Underground in terms of overall quality, so why don't we get back on track?

Agreed. Honestly you can't come to that conclusion without looking pretty deep. And why the moral is worse it's slightly more entertaining than Underground. Although Final Mova could get owned by Dark Gaia, Solaris, Time Eater, Hyper Sonic or Hyper Knuckles. One thing Sonic X has over any other Sonic media is that they don't like godmodding their Characters I mean Sonic in base can now beat Perfect Chaos which shows how overpowered Sonic is in the games.

Its certainly one way to interpret the ending, although I don't really agree with that interpretation. And hold on -- you say that the so-called pro-suicide moral is "worse" (I don't understand what you mean by this) is because it, the moral in question, is "slightly more entertaining" than Underground? I have to be misunderstanding something, because if I'm not misinterpreting what you're saying... then wouldn't that actually be a good thing, since it gives Sonic X's ending more entertainment value than Sonic Underground does/did for you?
And as for those other entities being able to overpower Final Mova -- None of those entities have made any kind of appearance within the Sonic X continuity, and within said continuity its been established that Final Mova could basically kick tons of butt and take names without much issue unless weakened in a specific way. Dark Gaia, Solaris, Time Eater, Hyper Sonic and Hyper Knuckles exist within their own universes, so what I wanna know is how can we actually, accurately compare Final Mova's power and abilities with those other characters? Do we know how strong the Super Transformations in Sonic X are in comparison to the games continuity, for example? There are many factors to consider, and because of that I don't think there's really an accurate way to truly compare them all -- unless you wanna go by the basic concepts of their supposed powers and abilities (Solaris could basically manipulate/destroy time and space by itself -- any being like this is usually considered to be next to invincible in many works of fiction, if not truly invincible outright, so logically it can be safely assumed that under normal circumstances most of the other candidates would barely stand a chance against Solaris, but this is Sonic we're talking about so being able to stand a chance against beings like Solaris is pretty much a given in most cases.), and/or what you can see of their respective abilities.
I take it you're citing your example of Sonic in his base form being able to defeat Perfect Chaos from Sonic Generations?

Well the ending was really well done compared to Underground. I find it more enteraining to watch but I think the rancid morals make it a worse product.
You have a great point there. I think someone could make a power chart of all the Sonic characters using feats from all canons.
Yeah.
