Overview

In Tails Adventure, Bomb Throwing Combatants are only found in Polly Mountain 1. They usually wait for the player to arrive before making a move. They start by running up to Tails to throw a bomb at him, for then to move away to throw another as the player approaches them.

The player can easily defeat Bomb Throwing Combatants with any kind of bomb. Defeating one can sometimes cause a Ring to be dropped for the player to collect.

In the Sonic the Hedgehog comic and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics, Bomb Throwing Combatants appear as one of the two infantries (along with Rock Throwing Combatants) of the Battle Bird Armada, lead by Grand Battle Kukku XV. Their basic design and color scheme are close to their game counterparts, though they also use combat weapons, walkers and hover pods instead of just bombs.
