Trivia[]

  • Bunni's character is based on that of Nicholette "Nikki" Gold of Marvel Comics' Guardians of the Galaxy, on which the Freedom Fighters of the Galaxy are based.
  • In Sonic the Hedgehog #103, Tailon refers to Bunni as "Scarlett O'Hare", possibly as a nickname, or even her real name. Interestingly, writer Karl Bollers had plans for a story where Bunnie Rabbot's true name would be revealed as "Scarlett O'Hare", but said story was never published due to him leaving the series. It should be noted that Sonic the Hedgehog #103 was written by Michael Gallagher, not Karl Bollers, making the appearance of the name a strange factor.[1]
    • The reason for both Bunni being nicknamed Scarlett O'Hare by Michael Gallagher and Karl Bollers planning for Bunnie's real name to be Scarlett O'Hare is possibly due to both writers intending the name as a pun on Scarlett O'Hara, the protagonist of the novel Gone with the Wind, leading to the same name being used in unrelated circumstances.
