The Cacophonic Conch is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a type of conch shell of unknown origins that can be used to control Zeti.
As implied by its name, the Cacophonic Conch closely resembles a real-life musical instrument conch. It is very long, with long pointy spikes on the outer surface and is colored dark purple. Also, its opening glows red.
Dr. Eggman used the Cacophonic Conch to subjugate the Deadly Six and take command of the Lost Hex, which he soon converted into a base. However, the conch was later shattered by Sigma, who had taken control of Orbot, thus freeing the Deadly Six from Eggman's grip. These events were later erased by Xander Payne when he rewrote history. Not too long after however, Eggman assigned Egg Boss Wendy Naugus to retrieve the conch.
At some point in the not-too-distant future, the Cacophonic Conch was used by Eggman to subjugate Zavok when he met him on the Lost Hex. After struggling in vain, Zavok gave into the conch and reluctantly agreed to serve the doctor.
- The Cacophonic Conch previously appeared in the comic tie-in story of Sonic Lost World in Sonic Halloween Comic Fest 2013, though that version can be considered part of the In Another Time, In Another Place reality.
