Carnival Night Zone is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a Zone on Angel Island that resembles a giant carnival.

History

Creation

As Dr. Eggman was busy seeing his plans through on Little Planet, he had Dr. Snively build Carnival Night Zone on Angel Island which the latter did not see the point of. It took quite a while to build the Zone, so long that it made the duo fall behind schedule.[1]

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles

After Sonic made Dr. Eggman's Death Egg crash land on Angel Island, he and Tails passed through Carnival Night Zone during their mission to destroy the flying fortress for good.[2] Knuckles later passed through Carnival Night Zone in pursuit of a fleeing Eggbot controlled by Dr. Snively after multiple encounters on the island.[2][3]

Total Eclipse

Team Dark and a Tele-Pod controlled by Snively passed through Carnival Night Zone after landing on Angel Island in an attempt to reach and secure the Master Emerald before Eclipse the Darkling.[4]
