Carruthers (right) with a business colleague in Sonic the Comic #133. Black and white art by Carl Flint, colour by John M Burns.

Carruthers is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. She is an anthropomorphic cat and businesswoman from the Metropolis Zone.

Carruthers wears pink, tailored business suit and skirt, with a red necklace.

One Monday morning, while commuting into work with a colleague, Carruthers was taken over by her business suit (which had been designed by the evil Alf Garment) and suddenly smashed the window of a nearby jewelry store. She ran away with an armload of jewelry while begging someone to stop her because she couldn't control her actions. She was presumably saved along with the other businessmen when Amy Rose and Tekno the Canary thwarted Alf Garment's scheme.[1]

Carruthers is fond of schedules and timetables, and likes her life to be strictly ordered.
