The Cascade Temple Zone is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a Zone located amongst the Eastwatch Islands.[1]
Description[]
The Cascade Temple Zone appears to be within some old temple ruins that flow with water and contain various contraptions.
History[]
Doctor Eggman invaded this zone years ago, taking the local Ancient Gear for his Mega Drive super-weapon. Having tricked Knuckles the Echidna into thinking Sonic was the enemy again, he convinced him into setting up a trap in the zone for the hedgehog.[1]
Sonic, Tails and Amy later came to this zone in search for the Ancient Gears to stop Dr. Eggman. After using giant bubbles to float across a large gap, the trio were almost killed by a hidden trap but managed to escape when Sonic pulled out a loose brick from the ceiling, which also revealed Knuckles. After proving to Knuckles that Eggman had tricked him again, the four of them were chased by the mad doctor piloting his machine until he got wedged in between two ledges. The heroes quickly defeated Eggman once more before collecting another Ancient Gear and freeing the imprisoned Mobini.[1]
