interdimensional characters category[]

wouldn't some, if not all of, the characters in this continuity count as interdimensional beings? I know the Sonic X archie comics are "second rate" canon, but they're still canon never the less, and those comics pretty much established the "Sonic X Zone" as being another reality in the PSGW reality along side the Prime Zone and Moebius. Yahyanime (talk) 21:02, December 28, 2016 (UTC)

I honestly think it would be better if they were left as alternate doppelgangers. DeCool99 (talk) 21:12, December 28, 2016 (UTC)

Well, at this point, it's no different than Moebius, and whether there are dopplegangers, like Amy, or not, like Chris, they're still interdimensional beings from the perspective of the Prime Zone. It wouldn't hurt just to have this whole category listed as such imo Yahyanime (talk) 21:15, December 28, 2016 (UTC)

Hmm. Fair point. Well, if no one else opposes you then fire away but only limit it to the comic exclusive characters' counterparts. DeCool99 (talk) 21:18, December 28, 2016 (UTC)

you mean original characters like Chris?Yahyanime (talk) 21:19, December 28, 2016 (UTC)

No, don't include those guys. For now, at least. DeCool99 (talk) 21:22, December 28, 2016 (UTC)

Err... sorry, but I don't get what you mean by "comic exclusive character counterparts". Yahyanime (talk) 21:24, December 28, 2016 (UTC)

Interdimensional counterparts are only used for within the characters respective media. In the games, Earth is the main world and any creature from another dimension in that media is an interdimensional being. Meanwhile, the comics are set in the Prime Zone and any beings from another world in that media is an interdimensional being. As such, the main setting of the Sonic X worlds are the main world and any creature from another world in that media is an interdimensional being. It all depends on which perspective it is taken from - otherwise, this category might as well be spread to hundreds of articles.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 21:24, December 28, 2016 (UTC)
I honestly did not consider that. Never mind. Oh, and the characters I meant are Sonic, Tails, Amy, etc. DeCool99 (talk) 21:27, December 28, 2016 (UTC)

It undermines Sonic X as a series to simply list it as an alternate reality of the Archie Comics. Shadow and Metal Sonic Chaos Controlling into Sonic X is more like a crossover more than anything. Myself 123 21:31, December 28, 2016 (UTC)

A crossover? Eh I guess that makes sense after all.
On another topic, would you say that Sonic/Tails/Shadow/Chris would classify as interdimensional beings, since they techinically travelled to other universes/parallel worlds? (the latter two went from their world to Sonic's while the former to went from sonic's world to Earth) Yahyanime (talk) 21:34, December 28, 2016 (UTC)
If you took notice of what I said, you'll notice that this all depends on what the setting is. And since Sonic X has two main settings (which are actually spawn from the same local) it is not necessarily something that can be categorized with this category.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 21:37, December 28, 2016 (UTC)
No, I DID understand what you said. But I always got the impression that their was ONE main setting in Sonic X, namely Earth, especially given that Sonic's world/universe plays a pretty minor role, since it only appears in the last season, a season, mind you, that wasn't really planned to begin with.Yahyanime (talk) 21:52, December 28, 2016 (UTC)
