Chao Eggs are eggs which are hatched for the Chao Gardens in Sonic Adventure DX and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle.

Chao eggs are bought off of the Black Market in the Chao Kindergarten in Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, or buying them in the Black Market in Station Square's Chao Garden in Sonic Adventure DX.

Chao Eggs can also be found in various areas in Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, which will hatch into Chao that can assist the player in battle.

• White Egg: An egg that hatches into a white Chao. (400 rings)
• Pink Egg: An egg that hatches into a pink Chao. (600 rings)
• Yellow Egg: An egg that hatches into a yellow Chao. (500 rings)
• Red Egg: An egg that hatches into a red Chao. (500 rings)
• Gray Egg: An egg that hatches into a gray Chao. (1,000 rings)

TriviaEdit

• To save money, one can breed a shiny Chao with a colored Chao to make a shiny colored Chao.
• The Black Egg is the most expensive un-shiny egg a player can buy. The second being the Lime Green Egg and the third being the Gray Egg.
• Colored Chao (such as a Green Chao) cannot change colored appearance. They will stay at the same color, even if they're dark, neutral or hero.
