Chase After Blaze is the fourth Challenge Act of Planet Wisp Act 1 in the console/PC version of Sonic Generations. It is unlocked after clearing every Stage in the modern era and is playable only as Classic Sonic.
The battle arena is a part of Planet Wisp Act 1. The area is littered with Pink Wisps which can be used during the Act. The area is filled with Explosion Traps, new types of moving Bombs, Dash Rings, Invincibility, Fans, Springs, and all types of the Time Bonuses.
The objective of this Challenge Act is to catch Blaze the Cat in less than ninety seconds. When the Challenge Act begins, Blaze will float around the labyrinth-like arena and will react to all of Classic Sonic's movements. To catch up to Blaze, the player has to use the Pink Spikes with the Pink Wisps to follow her along walls and ceilings. To track Blaze, an icon with Blaze will move along the screen to pinpoint her location. Due to Dash Rings, Springs and Bombs littering the paths though, following Blaze is difficult. An advisable strategy is thus to reach spaces near Blaze and wait for her to stop flying, before then launching into a Spin Dash.
- After clearing this Challenge Act, Blaze will say "Your spines is getting shorter is one thing, but turning pink? What did you eat, Sonic?" when talking to her in the White Space.
