The Comlink[1] (Receptor in Japanese[3]) is an object that appears in the anime series Sonic X. They are wrist communicators used by Sonic the Hedgehog and his team during the Metarex wars.

The Comlinks have a simplistic design, with a white-gray strap to attach it around the wrist. On that strap is a small yellow and orange, box-shaped contraption whose lit can be opened to reveal a miniature screen, keyboard and speaker.

Features and abilities

The Comlinks are capable of video and telecommunication, allowing Team Sonic's members to stay in contact and also to visually observe them.[4] They can also be used to track objects such as the chaos energy[1] and project holographic images.[2]

Metarex Saga

The Comlink were primarily used by the Blue Typhoon's crew throughout the majority of their war against the Metarex, usually to communicate with each other and locate Chaos Emeralds during missions and assignment.[1][2][4][5][6]
