Copy Robot is an evil doppelgänger of Mega Man in the Mega Man comic series that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog and Mega Man comic crossover, Sonic & Mega Man: Worlds Collide. Having the exact same attire as Mega Man, excluding his red eyes and purple scarf, he has the same powers as Mega Man, making him an unstoppable foe to the Blue Bomber. His role in the Worlds Collide event is capturing characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog comics and making them be roboticized into the Roboticized Masters.
Copy Robot first appeared in Sonic Universe #51, where he captured (in chronological order) Charmy Bee, Espio the Chameleon, Vector the Crocodile, and Silver the Hedgehog to have more specimen for Dr. Wily's army. Due to Copy Robot's similar appearance to Mega Man, Sonic the Hedgehog chased around Copy Robot until the Blue Blur had hit Mega Man, thinking that the Blue Bomber was Copy Robot. Copy Robot would not appear in the crossover until Sonic the Hedgehog, Mega Man, Proto Man, Miles "Tails" Prower, and Rush came to Skull Egg Zone after Dr. Light was captured by Bass and Metal Sonic. Copy Robot ambushed the heroes and as Sonic and Mega Man ran towards the robot, the Genesis Unit–Buster Rod G, Hyper Storm H, and Mega Water S–ambushed the heroes. Copy Robot faced off Mega Man and the evil counterpart kept on taunting Mega Man until the Blue Bomber used the Tails Wind Master Weapon to blow away Copy Robot. It is unknown what happened to Copy Robot at this moment. (WC #2, #5)
- In Sonic Universe #52, Copy Robot had made reference to the Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie's infamous line "Strange, isn't it?" while taunting Mega Man.
