Cream performs a cheer that will clear negative status effects on her friends.

— Description, Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood[1]

Cure (キュア Kyua?) is a POW move used by Cream the Rabbit in Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. When performing this move, Cream performs a cheer that removes any negative status effects from all her team members.

Description[]

When performing Cure, Cream walks up in front and faces the front of her team. Cream then performs a cheer for her team by swinging her upper body to the left, then right, and finishes off by doing a twirl in mid-air. After finishing her cheer, red crosses will then emit from Cream and her other teammates, and Cream returns to her team position.

In gameplay, when performing Cure, the player is able to remove any negative status effects (Cursed, Distracted, Poisoned, Sluggish, Stunned, Vulnerable, Weakened) from all the player's characters currently in battle by granting them an Antidote. After performing Cure, all of the player's characters will automatically be given an Antidote if inflicted with a negative status effect for a set number of rounds that depends on the level of Cure. The higher the level of Cure, the more rounds will Cure stay in effect.

Real-Time Interaction[]

When performing Cure in gameplay, the player has to complete a series of real-time events by performing certain actions on the Touch Screen, in order to execute Cure optimally. For these actions, the player has to touch the inside of eight circles in succession when the outer circles overlap the inner circles. Missing or not touching these circles correctly will result in Cream failing to perform Cure.

Statistics[]

Level PP Cost Damage Effect
I 4 No damage Antidote for one round.
II 4 No damage Antidote for two rounds.
III 4 No damage Antidote for three rounds.
