Cyborg Freedom Fighters is a group that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. They are an alternate version of the Mobius Prime's Knothole Freedom Fighters that Robo-Robotnik v1.0 originated from.
History
Robotnik attempted to defeat them by subjecting them to partial Roboticization, but the Cyborg Freedom Fighters turned it to their advantage by launching an all out assault against him. This led Robotnik to Roboticize himself, after which he decimated the group, leaving their leader, Cyborg Sonic, as the only known survivor. Cyborg Sonic subsequently fled to Mobius Prime to seek help from Sonic the Hedgehog.[1]
