Added by SupermorffDeeble is a Blodex, a member of a friendly race inhabiting Thoraxia, which Sonic encountered when he was lost in space.
History

Deeble was Sonic's tour guide while Sonic was the guest of the Blodex. (When Sonic said that he'd never had a guided tour of an alien city or an alien tour guide, Deeble said that he'd never given a tour to a hedgehog.) Deeble showed Sonic around the Blodex's home city, including the Statue of Aypex. Deeble told the story of Aypex, the Blodex's ancient champion, and how he used the six red Chaos Emeralds that fell from the sky to defeat the ancient Bzzzz Queen. Now that the Bzzzz had returned, Deeble asked Sonic to stay on Thoraxia and be the Blodex's new defender, but Sonic declined as he had to return home to Mobius.[1]
