The Destroyer is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It was a giant mechanical airship created by Dr. Ivo Robotnik.
Description
The Destroyer was a giant metallic blimp with windshields on the front and cables along the hull.
History
The Destroyer was used during Dr. Ivo Robotnik's coup to take over the Kingdom of Acorn and rule Mobotropolis, turning it into Robotropolis.[1]
Trivia
- The Destroyer is based on the same vehicle that appeared in the Sonic the Hedgehog animated series episodes "Blast to the Past, Part 1" and "Blast to the Past, Part 2".
