Dingotus is a character that appears in the Sonic Underground television series. He is the alternate doppelgänger of Dingo from another dimension and the right hand man of Sleetus.

Dingotus resembles Dingo almost in every aspect, including his purple sunglasses. The only difference in appearance is that Dingotus wears a traditional ancient Roman clothing.

Dingotus was first encountered by Manic the Hedgehog almost immediately after the hedgehog arrived in the different dimension. While riding a wagon, Dingotus nearly ran over a citizen, but was stopped by Manic. Angered, Dingotus captured Manic and took him to Emperor Sleetus, with Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonia the Hedgehog following soon after. When the Sonic Underground attempted to free Augustine, Dingotus gave chase after Sonia, Manic, and Ledian, and managed to capture the three, only to be defeated by the centaur that Sonic had befriended (who was in reality the Oracle). Upon Augustine’s return, Dingotus, along with Sleetus, were subdued by the Sonic Underground.[1]

Much like Dingo, Dingotus is notably stupid. with there being little to no noticeable personality differences between the two.[1]
