Doctor Warpnik is a minor antagonist in the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog television series. He is an inventor and the cousin of Dr. Ivo Robotnik, who banished him to the Warp of Confusion for his exceedingly loony behavior.
Dr. Warpnik is about as tall as his cousin Robotnik. He has pink skin, broad shoulders, a round red nose, an overbite and a patch of yellow hair floating above his head which moves according to Warpnik's mood. He wears a pair of glasses with black frames, a white lab coat, light green gloves and dark red one-piece pants/shoes.
At some point, Warpnik was banished to the Warp of Confusion by his cousin Dr. Ivo Robotnik due to Warpnik's loony manners and his dislike of his fish. Furious over this act, Warpnik vowed revenge.
Five years later, Dr. Warpnik enacted his plan to escape the Warp of Confusion and as well get revenge by making Robotnik come to him. By luring Tails into the Warp of Confusion, Warpnik manipulated Sonic the Hedgehog to follow Tails' trail, expecting that Robotnik would in turn follow Sonic. Once Sonic got there, Warpnik introduced himself and his plan, before Robotnik and his minions arrived. Warpnik quickly fought his cousin with fish until Sonic and Tails tried leaving. Not letting them escape, Warpnik attacked with a machine that warped objects into monsters, but got into a fight with Robotnik over the device. In the process, Warpnik and Robotnik were attacked by Coconuts, Scratch and Grounder who got turned into monsters, causing the Warp of Confusion to explode. As Warpnik and Robotnik got trapped, they continued to fight each other with fish.
Warpnik is an absolute looney; he is downright crazy and insane, doing erratic things such as stuffing fish into his ears and having odd twitches. He constantly laughs maniacally and has extreme mood swings. He is also very affectionate about fish, passionately kissing them and giving them nicknames.
Behind his insanity, Warpnik is an intelligent and cunning manipulator, luring both Sonic and Robotnik to him without them knowing before it was too late. He is also shown to be vengeful as he vowed revenge for being banished for five years.
