Double Jump is a special move that becomes usable after jumping. When performing it, the user does an additional jump in midair without using any solid surfaces to set off from. In gameplay, this allows the player to get higher into the air to accomplish different feats, such as crossing gabs too wide for a regular jump or reach targets that are otherwise out of reach.
Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric
In Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric, the Double Jump can be performed by all the playable characters in the game. In this game, when using the Double Jump, the characters briefly leave behind a blue air current as they set off. To perform Double Jump in gameplay, the player must press during a jump.
Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal
In Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal, the Double Jump is again usable to all the playable characters in the game. When using the Double Jump in this game, the characters all do a body flip. To perform this move in gameplay, the player has to press during a jump.
Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice
In Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice, all playable characters can once again use the Double Jump, including the Bot Racers during Bot Racing. Its execution is the same as in Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal. Like in said game, the player must press during a jump to use the Double Jump in gameplay.
