The Downunda Dark Egg Legion was a Dark Egg Legion chapter based in the continent of Downunda. Consisting entirely of Platypi, it was led by Duck "Bill" Platypus of the Downunda Freedom Fighters, who had previously led his people while brainwashed by the evil Crocbot. When they decided to join Dr. Eggman, the Platypi forced Bill to lead them again, but this time he chose to use the opportunity to sabotage Eggman's empire from within.
