- For the version of this character after the Super Genesis Wave, see E-105 Zeta (Archie).
E-105 Zeta is a character who appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It was the sixth unit in the E-100 Series line, created by Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik.
E-105 Zeta was created sometime during or after the events of Dr. Eggman's campaign to harness the power of Chaos. At some point, Zeta was retrofitted into a restorative engine inside the Egg Carrier's remains. However, as part of E-102 Gamma's mission to eliminate all of the E-100 Series, Zeta was destroyed by Gamma.
- E-105 Zeta originally did not appear during the Sonic Adventure adaptation in the Pre-Super Genesis Wave timeline. Instead, the E-105 Army were created as a replacement to Zeta's absence.
- Zeta being a part of the restorative engine in the Egg Carrier is a reference to the video game counterpart of Zeta, who originally was a regular E-100 Series robot until it underwent a remodeling as an engine on the Egg Carrier.
