E-107 Theta (Θ) is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog and its spin-off comic series' published by Archie Comics. It is an E-100 Series robot.

History (Pre-Super Genesis Wave)

E-107 Theta was tracked down by Robotropolis' underground facilities by fellow E-100 series robot E-102 Gamma, but was lost due to the hazardous environment, causing Gamma to believe that Theta had been destroyed, though this was not the case.

Light Mobius

E-107 Theta was sealed inside the Catacombs of Castle Mobius along with former king Shadow the Hedgehog, Tikhaos and the Anarchy Beryl Bomb. Little is known about Theta except that it must have been extremely dangerous as only the greatest threats to Mobius that had to be quarantined were kept in the Catacombs. (SU: #7)

Trivia

E-106 Eta New

E-106 Eta, who uses Theta's planned design but with the numbers "106" on his sides in place of "107"

  • The solicitation for Sonic the Hedgehog #258 stated that Sonic would confront Theta and an army of Badniks when attempting to retrieve the Egg Train's cargo. Though it was later stated by Jon Gray that this solicitation is wrong and that Theta will not appear for the moment. Ian Flynn later expanded on this, stating that Archie did not plan on using anything associated with Light Mobius until the lawsuit with Ken Penders had died down, and as such E-106 Eta would take over Theta's role. Issue #257 seemed to have changed this slightly, with Eggman making it seem as though Theta had merely been renamed to E-107 Eta, but in the next issue Eta appeared for the first time and was given its proper number of E-106.
