Shinobi-Seasonal-Shrines

Seasonal Shrines, an example of an East Asian theme level.

The East Asian theme is a stage theme that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series.

East Asian stages draw influence from East Asian countries' environments, particularly Japan and China, with influence being drawn from modern and ancient aesthetics. This stage theme is primarily aesthetic in nature, as there are not many gimmicks and obstacles associated with the theme.

Common elements found among such stages include cherry blossom trees, writing on street signs that resemble East Asian alphabets, tomes, and dragon imagery.

It is a relatively new theme, with it's first appearance being in Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity in Gigan Rocks.
