The Egg Camel is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. They are transport vehicles created by Dr. Eggman, which were used during the invasion of Central City. True to their name, they bear a strong resemblance to camels.
History[]
Scrambled[]
Three Egg Camels (one for Eggman, Orbot, and Cubot, respectively) were used to invade Central City in order to capture Eggman's nephew, Snively. During the attack however, they were distracted by Omega and G.U.N. forces. Because of this, Eggman sent out Egg Paladians and two robots from Team Metal–Metal Sonic and Mecha Sally–to defeat the outside forces to carry on Eggman's mission to find and capture Snively. After finding Snively escaping the G.U.N. Headquarters, Eggman stopped the invasion and commanded all of his forces to come back to the Egg 'Stache Flyer.[1]
Trivia[]
- Egg Camels are similar to AT-AT Walkers from the Star Wars franchise, which were themselves inspired the prehistoric mammal Paraceratherium. However the Egg Camels with the cannons on their backs bear more similarity to the larger AT-M6 Walkers featured in Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi.
