The Egg Jet[1] is a vehicle that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It was a high-speed shuttle craft built by Dr. Eggman and stored in the hangar of the Death Egg Mark 2.

Description

The Egg Jet has a peculiar design, whose components are all blocky. Mostly colored grey with hints of red, it has a streamlined main body and attachments on the top and bottom reminiscing space shuttle fins. The rear and the recess in it is covered with five rocket exhausts.

History

Genesis

During Operation: Clean Sweep, Eggman used the jet to escape from the altered Mobius' Metropolis Zone to the Death Egg, though Sonic the Hedgehog was able to grab onto it before he got away. As they fought aboard the battle station, the doctor's mech destroyed the jet, but it was restored after Super Sonic changed reality back to normal.[2]

Scrambled

Snively later stole the jet when he betrayed Eggman and flew to Central City in the United Federation with it, subsequently traveling to the Dragon Kingdom as well.[1][3]
