The Egg 'Stache Flyer[1] is an object that appears in the Sonic the hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a subsection of the Death Egg Mark 2 resembling a giant mustache, able to detach from it and serve as an independent vehicle.

Description[]

Appearance[]

The Egg 'Stache Flyer resembles a flying metallic mustache, with a long structure protruding from its rear acting as the bridge and troop storage.[1]

Features and traits[]

Able to detach and independently operate from the Death Egg Mark 2, the Egg 'Stache Flyer is capable of both both flight, and mid-air hovering. It also holds Egg SWATs, Egg Camels, Prison Eggs, and several other of Dr. Eggmans machines ready for deployment, which it can do at a moment's notice.[1][2][3]

History[]

Scrambled[]

The Egg 'Stache Flyer was detached from the Death Egg Mark 2 and used by Dr. Eggman to pursue the traitorous Snively Robotnik, with Orbot and Cubot serving as its co-pilots. Arriving in Central City, Eggman deployed several Egg SWATs and Egg Camels from the Egg 'Stache Flyer to combat the resident G.U.N forces and locate Snively. However, Snively managed to escape, and Eggman recalled all his forces to Egg 'Stache Flyer and continued the chase. The Egg 'Stache Flyer soon arrived at the Iron Fortress, and remained hovering over it while Eggman inquired Conquering Storm of Snively's whereabouts. Unable to locate him, Eggman flew the Egg 'Stache Flyer to Stormtop Village, and deployed several more Egg SWATs and Prison Eggs from it, with an upgraded model of the Egg Beater soon following in order for Eggman to combat the Iron Oni. After finally capturing Snively and the Iron Queen in a Prison Egg, Eggman returned all his deployed forces to the Egg 'Stache Flyer, and flew it to the Eurish Dark Egg Legion base, before returning it to the Death Egg Mark 2 and reattaching it.[1][2][3][4]
