The Egg Wizard
The Egg Wizard (エッグウィザード Egguu~izādo?) is the boss of Deep Core and the final boss of Sonic Rush Adventure. This boss can be fought after the player obtains all seven Chaos Emeralds and Sol Emeralds and has defeated the Ghost Titan.
History
After regaining the Jeweled Scepter from Captain Whisker and his band of pirates and obtaining the Chaos and Sol Emeralds, Gardon told Sonic, Tails, Blaze, and Marine that someone broke in and stole the Jeweled Scepter again. Shortly, a greater earthquake occurred and the group went outside, the Egg Wizard suddenly appeared and Dr. Eggman appeared along with Eggman Nega and told the group that they built Whisker to steal the Scepter so they could unleash the Power of the Stars. The two Eggmen left to get the Power of the Stars (which was under the Southern Island) and Sonic and friends went after them in a new machine, built by Tails, called the Magma Hurricane.
Once they get there, they saw they were too late as the two Eggmen got to the Power of the Stars and threatened to destroy both Sonic's world and Blaze's world and create a multidimensional Eggmanland. The immense power separated Sonic and Blaze from Tails and Marine and Eggman and Nega also said that both sets of emeralds couldn't compare to their power. Nega also threatened to destroy Blaze's kingdom and taunted her ancestors, saying that it was their duty to protect the Scepter and that their help was much appreciated. This angered Blaze, but Sonic got her to calm down and they used the Emeralds to transform into Super Sonic and Burning Blaze. They then challenge the Egg Wizard for the sake of both worlds and Blaze's kingdom and people.
After the fight, Eggman Nega presses the "Planet-Buster Laser" button to try and destroy Sonic and Blaze, but suddenly, Marine hits the Egg Wizard with some kind of odd, green ability from her hands. Blaze uses this opportunity to hit the Egg Wizard, throwing it into the air, while Sonic comes from behind and charges at the mech from behind and exits through the jewel on the front and the Egg Wizard explodes.
Powers and Abilities
The Egg Wizard is one of the most powerful robots ever created by Dr. Eggman and Eggman Nega. With the Jeweled Scepter in its possession, the Egg Wizard can tap into the Power of the Stars, enabling it to fight against even super transformed characters. In fact, the sheer force of its power alone can create strong earthquakes, and, as implied by Eggman Nega, it is capable of destroying entire planets with its "Planet-Buster Laser". However, the laser is either highly unstable or unwise to use within a planet, evidenced by Eggman's panic when Nega pressed the button.
With the aid of the Jeweled Scepter, the Egg Wizard can perform several magical-based energy attacks. It can create and launch several orbs of fire with varying intensity, create up to three dragons made of fire that explode upon contact, launch electrical paralyzing beams and summon large meteors. It can also use the Jeweled Scepter to stir up the magma under it, creating columns of magma. When not using the Jeweled Scepter, it can launch a row of several large missiles that cannot be avoided. It has also proven itself to be very fast, being able to keep a safe distance between it, Super Sonic and Burning Blaze.
Since the Egg Wizard has not demonstrated any of its power before it gained the Jeweled Scepter, it is unknown how strong it is without the use of the scepter.
Battle
Boss Guide
The first section has the Egg Wizard flying away and Super Sonic and Burning Blaze must catch up. The Egg Wizard has three attacks to start out with when Sonic and Blaze catch up. One of them is firing fire balls at them. The green ones go slowly at them, while the blue ones go faster. Sonic can deflect both types, damaging the Egg Wizard. He will also shoot three fire dragons that will home in on the player and explode on contact. These can also be deflected. He will also fire a flaming stone at them, which will let out a large shockwave when it hits. Although it can be deflected, it must be deflected with Sonic's attack at full charge. Plus, it will take the mech a short while to target the attack, so Blaze can attack with her fireballs in the meantime. After taking a large amount of damage, the Egg Wizard will regain some of his health, and get two new attacks. He will shoot out a large wave of lava that the player must avoid. He will also fire electrical charges that will stun the player for a few seconds. After losing most of his health, he will regain some of it again, and get a new attack. Now it can fire large missiles at the player. The missiles with rounded tips can be deflected by Sonic. Keep fighting until the Egg Wizard's health is completely gone, and you win the game.

Trivia
- This is the only boss in Sonic Rush Adventure that does not have the prefix "Ghost" in its title, and the only one to have an "Egg" prefix.
- The way Sonic finishes Egg Wizard is similar to how he finished Dark Gaia in Sonic Unleashed and the Dark Queen in Sonic and the Black Knight.
- Also the way is similar to Sonic Unleashed, both stages takes place in underground areas.
- Some of Super Sonic and Burning Blaze's voice clips are reused from the final fight in Sonic Rush.
- Part of the music used in this battle would be later used on the Rotatatron and Refreshinator from Sonic Colors.
