Eggmobile (lava machine) is the fifth boss encountered in Sonic 3D is Volcano Valley Zone, piloted by Dr. Robotnik.

BattleEdit

Robotnik will sit in the middle on his Eggmobile in an arena with only corner platforms and pipes which Sonic can walk on. The remaining area is enclosed with lava, and Robotnik's Eggmobile is protected by fire and lava blasters, which means that Sonic cannot attack him normally. The only chance of defeating the doctor is to lure the homing fire projectiles he fires towards his machine, which will eventually be destroyed by repeating this process a few times.
