History
Edit

Added by Rodolfo BoxioShortly before the evens of the series, Johnson decided to close Diamond Stadium and demolish it (in the dub, he is replacing it with an indoor stadium, while in Japanese the team is no longer active and it has been sold to a construction company).
When he saw the game between Sonic's team and Doctor Eggman's team, he traveled to the stadium and thanked Albert Butler (whom he calls "Al") for his dedication. He then offered Al a new job (in the Japanese version, he commits Diamond Stadium to Al's care, while in the English version he gives Al a new grounds-keeping job at the new stadium across town), which Al gladly accepts.[1]
Elmer Johnson later acted as the Master of Ceremonies for the Chaos Emerald Tournament, which took place at Diamond Stadium. Elmer introduced the competitors and announced the winners.[2]
