Elmer Johnson (エマー・ジョンソン Emā Jonson?, lit. "Emer Johnson") is the owner of Diamond Stadium in the anime series Sonic X. He appeared in episode 10, "Unfair Ball". The Japanese version states that he went from an unknown to the big leagues in Diamond Stadium. He is friends with Diamond Stadium's groundskeeper, Albert Butler.

History[]

Anime[]

New World Saga[]

Shortly before the events of the series, Elmer decided to close Diamond Stadium and demolish it (in the dub, he is replacing it with an indoor stadium, while in Japanese the team is no longer active and it has been sold to a construction company).

When he saw the game between Sonic's team and Doctor Eggman's team, he traveled to the stadium and thanked Albert Butler for his dedication. He then offered Albert a new job (in the Japanese version, he commits Diamond Stadium to Al's care, while in the English version he gives Al a new grounds-keeping job at the new stadium across town), which Albert gladly accepts.[2]

Elmer Johnson, along with Albert, appears later in Beating Eggman, Part 2 where they are present watching Sonic and his friends destroying Eggman's fortress.

Emerl Saga[]

Elmer Johnson later acted as the Master of Ceremonies for the Chaos Emerald Martial Arts Mash-Up, which took place at Diamond Stadium. Elmer introduced the competitors and announced the winners.[3]
