- So far, not a single Sonic game has been rated above Teen.
- However, no Sonic game that does not include any other character outside of the Sonic franchise has ever been rated Teen.
- The K-A rating was replaced with the E rating in 1998.
- The PSN version of Sonic the Hedgehog was rated E10+ until 2013.
