Eoismias are creatures that are mentioned in the Sonic X anime series. It was a genus of animals that lived on Earth in prehistoric times.[1]

Reports state that the Eoismias species was extremely small, being only the size of a human finger. They also possessed feet and bones.[1]
Characteristics and culture[]
It is theorized that the Eoismias species was nocturnal, only sleeping during the day and searching for food in the treetops during the night. They also only ate insects and fruit.[1]

According to reports, the Eoismias were creatures whose existence led to the development of apes, monkeys, and humans. They supposedly lived 45 million years ago in tropical jungles in an unspecified country. Over fifty years go, evidence of the Eoismias' existence were found by scientists. The research on the creatures were used during Project Shadow, although it is unknown what role it played.[1]
