Espio Man is a Roboticized Master that appears exclusively in the Sonic & Mega Man: Worlds Collide comic crossover event. He is a roboticized version of Espio the Chameleon and was roboticized by Dr. Eggman and Dr. Wily in order to increase the amount of members of the Roboticized Masters, as well as to capture all of the Chaos Emeralds for the mad scientists. As of now, he has been deroboticized.

History[]

Transformations[]

Having been hired by Sonic the Hedgehog to locate the missing Tails, Knuckles and Amy, Espio and his teammates were subdued and captured by Copybot and delivered to Dr. Eggman and Dr. Wily. Converted into Espio Man, he joined the other Roboticized Masters in attacking Sonic and his team of allies-including Wily's nemesis Mega Man-as they made their way deeper into the Skull Egg Zone.  During the battle, Mega Man's brother Proto Man broke away from the fighting, and Espio Man was left to battle Sonic and the other heroes alongside Vector Man and Charmy Man while the other Masters pursued him. While Espio Man and his teammates proved formidable adversaries, the heroes were able to defeat them after Tails modified Mega Man's Mega Buster weapon to duplicate the powers of Sonic's Spin Dash. As a result, Espio Man was restored to normal.

Powers and abilities[]

Like his organic self, Espio Man is capable of turning completely invisible, an ability that manifested as his Chroma Camo power. He also retained his proficiency with kunai, but like his fellow Roboticized Masters is vulnerable to the combined powers of Sonic and Mega Man.

Trivia[]

  • While fighting Espio Man, Sonic-in his usual attempts at banter with his enemies-suggested that he might be called "Sting-" before being cut off by an attack. This was a reference to the boss in Mega Man X, the Maverick Hunter turned Maverick, Sting Chameleon.
