Sonic X Volume 8 is the eighth DVD released in Australia containing three episodes of the anime series Sonic X. As with the other Sonic X Volumes, the DVD also comes with a trailer of Sonic Mega Collection Plus.
Episode synopses[]
"Emerald Anniversary"[]
The jewellery that Rouge had her eyes on is sold and disappears from the showcase of the shop. Rouge, suspecting that it may have been a Chaos Emerald, goes with Topaz to look for it. Chris' father had a bought a ring at the same jewellery shop (actually a Chaos Emerald) as a gift for his wife for their wedding anniversary. At the anniversary surprise party, the Chaos Emeralds start responding to each other!
"How To Catch A Hedgehog"[]
Sonic gets into a battle with Dr. Eggman's robot E-88, who kidnaps Amy from a ranch. Although Sonic defeats his opponent, something goes into his ear. Not aware of it happening, Sonic returns to Chris' house, but the object in Sonic's ear responds to the remote control of the garbage that Tanaka operates, and Sonic suddenly goes berserk!
"A Dastardly Deed"[]
Sonic, Chris and the others are on board X Tornade to look for the last Chaos Emerald, using his robot E-77. However, as soon as E-77 takes off, it falls in the mountains and cannot get back on it's feet. It is rescued by Knuckles who is passing by. Knuckles, seeing Egg Fort 2 on the other side, comes up with an idea: maybe he could join hands with Eggman to return to the world which he came. He figures that the fastest way to get back, is to collect the Chaos Emeralds.
