Adabat is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a tropical village of stilt houses built right on the water, and a part of the United Federation. It thrives on fishing and tourism and hidden in the jungles nearby are massive ruins of a civilization long since passed.[1]

History[]

When the Shattered World Crisis occurred, Adabat was affected enough by the tremors to destroy Teanchi's ancestral home. Seeking the Gaia Key, Miles "Tails" Prower and Bunnie D'Coolette visited Adabat, where they got Teanchi to hand over the key after they shook him out of his depression over the loss of his home with the support of Teanchi's children.[2]
