The Amphibious Vehicle[1] is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a motorized form of transportation that can work underwater and on land.
History[]
The Case of the Pirate Princess[]
Echo the Dolphin commandeered an Amphibious Vehicle from Meropis Tourism in order to search for the missing Princess Undina, who was being held ransom by pirates. After finding out that the pirate kidnappers are sailing around an island known as "the Knives", Echo and the Chaotix used the vehicle to travel across the sea floor to get there. Charmy began to worry about glass windows breaking and drowning, though Espio told him that they would probably get crushed by the pressure first. Echo told them the car was perfectly safe, as it had its own pressurization field, as well as Air Charms in the glove box. Not much later, Echo accidentally hit Razor the Shark with the vehicle and got out with Vector to investigate. After some commotion, everyone quickly got back into the car when a pirate submarine appeared. Echo tried to start the car, but was too late and the sub abducted the vehicle with all those inside it.[1]
